Chelsea FC and PSG will be facing each other for the 2nd consecutive year in the UEFA Champions League after having been pitted together and this is the chance that the French club needed to make their revenge.

In the previous season, Chelsea managed to defeat and eliminate PSG from the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

The club secretary of Chelsea, David Barnard is well- aware that any club which could have been draw would have been a difficult opponent to face and even though Chelsea defeated PSG last year, they still remain being a tough team to play against with but the English side does have an advantage as Chelsea will be playing their 2nd leg at home.

“No matter who we were going to draw, before the draw was made they were all there by merit, PSG are no exception’’
‘’I think we’ve got an advantage by being away first, at least we know what we will have to do for the second leg so from our point of view, whether it was PSG or whoever it was, it would still be the same situation.” Chelsea’s David Barnard said.

The Sporting Director of PSG, Olivier Letang is eager to face Chelsea but knows that his own squad and team have to get prepared as much as they can before playing against the club that eliminated them last year.

Chelsea has significantly improved much more and is an overall better squad than what it used to be last year when they played with PSG. Diego Costa, CescFabregas and ThibautCourtois are some of the new additions to team at Stamford Bridge. PSG has shown signs of improvement as well but Chelsea are the favorites on winning this match by a substantially large margin.
